This image shows that 45.8% of survey respondents reported that A Mitzvah to Eat's work is lifesaving, 47.9% said our work is potentially lifesaving.

Survey respondents also shared:

"I think without a program/ website like yours, some people would feel so guilty about what they aren't able to do on Jewish holidays that they'd endanger their health and life....like Passover/ Yom Kippur."

It's not the case for me personally that it is lifesaving; more that it is empowering to preserve my health. [If I fasted,] I would be exceedingly unwell and incapacitated for a considerable amount of time.  But I am sure that there are people participating in our community for whom "lifesaving" is the correct description of what A Mitzvah to Eat does for them.

"There have been multiple  times where I have shared information from your organization, and I have received feedback that it has helped my friends from relapsing into their eating disorders on holidays. I personally see that as definitely life-saving."
