PAST PEER SUPPORT GATHERINGS

Our peer support gatherings are welcoming and supportive spaces to talk about how we are relating to Jewish holidays or fast days, Jewish observance, community, and more.

Our pre-Yom Kippur gathering was for those who were unable to safely fast on Yom Kippur this year.

Please read our online peer support gatherings guidelines below.

Gathering before Yom Kippur

Sunday, September 28, 2025

1 pm ET

10 am PT/11 am MT/12 pm CT

6 pm BST/8 pm IT

Meeting Guidelines:

1) These gatherings are for adults who are at least 18 years old.

2) This is a peer support space, not group therapy.

3) Please respect the privacy of our participants. No names, personal details, or other identifying information about other participants may be shared outside of each support gathering.

4) These gatherings are pluralistic spaces. We welcome participants from diverse Jewish backgrounds and identities. Participants in the process of converting to Judaism are also welcome.

5) Our peer support gatherings focus on support rather than advice.

Here are some examples of what support sounds like:

"That resonates for me."

I'm holding space for you."

"You are not alone."

Here are some examples of what advice sounds like:

"Can't you just do the following actions?"

"You should do the following."
