SUKKOT PRAYER

A prayer for those who do not have an accessible sukkah.

Dear God,

As I eat inside, without an accessible sukkah,

may I feel your compassionate presence here with me.

May you open the eyes of my community,

helping them work collaboratively to make space,
build a ramp,

extend an invitation.

On this holiday of openness,

help my community look beyond that which is familiar.
Help them see who has access and who struggles to find space.

This Sukkot, may we all be seen.

May we all be held.

May we all be sheltered.
